Correct Way How to change Ford keyless remote fob battery - Fiesta B-Max EcoSport Focus C-Max Kuga Mondeo S-Max Edge Galaxy
Not sure if above problem is with lock or usual problem with wear to inside of handle not allowing it to fully engage. Below is a copy of post from STDRIVERS where I investigated and solved problem on my ST. Thought it was time to investigate why passenger door handle was starting to play up and refuse to open door.

Walked over to the driver side and it unlocked and locked completely fine. Remote works fine, as do the interior lock functions. Everything looks fine in the dash settings, and tried both FOB's.

Ive no idea what ive done, adjusted, altered etc etc but now the keyless entry will only work on the drivers door - i cant lock my passenger door externally nor open

Apparently the Keyless Entry has a sensor built into the door handle and a control module underneath the passenger seat. Ford replaced the module under the seat eventually under a couple of days investigation, but were sure it was the handle as it's quite common with Keyless entry problems.

Insert Key and turn to II, then Turn Key from II to I and back to II four times within 3 seconds. 2.
